Meagan Booth
Director of Creativity and Professional Affiliations
Meagan is a Principal Planner with Salt Lake City, focusing on community engagement, land use, zoning, urban design, historic preservation, and urban ecology. She has held various roles within the American Planning Association (APA). She is the Utah Chapter APA Vice President and Director of Chapter Engagement for the APA Women and Planning Division. Meagan holds a bachelor's degree in urban planning from the University of Utah. In 2016, she launched Little City Walks, a program designed to involve children in urban planning and ecology and promote civic engagement and public health. Meagan enjoys calligraphy, painting, and mountain recreation in her free time with her family- her husband, daughter, cat, and golden retriever. Meagan is excited to join YEP! as the Director of Creativity and Professional Affiliations. In this role, she hopes to research and explore innovative ways for YEP to engage with young people and establish partnerships within the professional community.
